She lives in Seattle with her husband and has been happily married for four years. When she isn't editing or helping women grow their businesses online she enjoys cooking, bargain shopping and watching movies.
What is your God-given purpose and how are you currently living it out?
My God-given purpose is to help women find and fulfill their calling in life. I am currently living out my purpose through providing faith-based content and resources online through She Leads Daily, as well as by personally mentoring and coaching women on how to pursue their God-dream.
What is one of the biggest challenges you had to overcome to pursue your God-given purpose and goals?
One of the biggest challenges I have had to overcome is learning not to do things the world's way and instead, being in tune with God to do things His way. The world tells us that success is accomplished by following x, y, and z, but if God gave us the vision, then He will give us the plan. It's finding a balance between learning from others but getting our guidance and direction from God.
What is your definition of success and stance on failure?
To me, success is living out each day in community with Jesus and doing the best that you can to live out what He has called you to do and who He has called you to be. We tend to look at success as a long-term thing but in reality, it is made up of the choices we make each and every single day. When it comes to failure, I believe that it is an important part of finding and fulfilling our purpose. It's okay to make mistakes, learn from them, and keep moving forward. We have to understand that a failure does not make us a failure. It's just a learning lesson to propel us forward. Success comes from choosing to move forward from failure instead of letting it become an excuse not to pursue our purpose.

If you could go back in time, what is one piece of advice that you would give to yourself?
To seek and invest in support sooner. It's hard to pursue your purpose on your own and the reality is that we weren't meant to do things alone. I finally made the decision to invest in a group coaching program about two years into pursuing my vision and it was the best decision I ever made. Having a Christian coach and a group of women to help and support me took me to new levels I would not have reached on my own.
What is one of your major characteristics that has contributed to where you are right now?
Can I name two? Consistency and perseverance. I have spent years giving my time and days to my vision. I did it for two years while working full-time until I was able to leave my job and do it now. I do the same things over and over again but better and in new ways. Because of that, I am where I am today. It's all about not giving up when things get tough.
What is your go-to bible verse that keeps you going?
Psalm 139:16 which says:
"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them."
To me, this scripture so clearly states that God created a plan for us and a purpose for each day of our life, even BEFORE he formed us. So, I wake up every day believing there is purpose in that day and doing everything I can to live it out.
Mantra or words to live by.
"If God already made a plan for your life, then you don't need to make one."
It's a quote I made that reminds me that I don't have to know everything because God does. All I have to do is follow Him. As someone whose nature is to plan and know everything, it relieves a burden for me and reminds me to put my trust and faith in HIM. If I follow Him, He will guide me into His plan for me.
What’s your favorite personal or spiritual development book/blog?
I really love "You Can Have it All" by Mary Kay Ash. I bought it not knowing she was a Christian and fell in love with her business principles from a faith-based perspective.
Define what "fashion your life” means to you.
To me "fashion your life" means modeling Jesus. I believe that as Christians, one of the biggest things we do is reflect Christ to others on the earth. We are like a portrait; displaying who He is and what we do with that is a big responsibility. This is done through the way we treat others and how we live out our purpose. If we choose to fashion our life after Christ, then we will show the world how deeply He loves them, cares for them, and wants to be in a relationship with them. It will also show others that they too have a purpose in life. I believe all of our purposes, while unique, lead people to Christ.
What advice would you give to women who are also looking to fashion their life according to God’s will and purpose?
Surrender. Surrender to God and to His will. Seek. Seek your heart's desires and dreams. Pursue. God gave you dreams and desires for a reason, so don't be afraid to go after them. Fight. Never give up on the promises God has given you. There will be trials but past the trials, your blessing will be waiting on the other side. See trials as the opportunity to be the overcomer that God says you are.
What does it mean to know that you are #FearfullyFashioned?
It means that I am beautiful, I am worthy, I am capable and I am enough. I don't have to try to be anyone else because God created me to be uniquely me and He created you to be uniquely you.
